I actually woke up early for once!

At 7-ish am! Can you believe it? Must be my body finally realizing that school'll start for me in 2 weeks. Now only if I could realize it... I'm still not done with my summer homework. *sigh* However, I can get started on them again! One of my books, "Guns, Germs, and Steel" by Jared Diamond, "went on a journey some 3 weeks ago" (this line I stole from sensei in the manga Hoshi wa Utau. Apparently he lost his glasses). And yesterday, or perhaps the day before yesterday, it has returned! It's journey must've been very hard indeed, for it has come back torn and crushed... I'll post some pictures later. It really is amusing.

Now for what I've been meaning to post:
MANGA UPDATES. Again, watch out if you haven't read what I'm talking about, because I just like to spoil everything, don't I?
First up: EDEN NO HANA.
I believe this picture is enough to show what I'm thinking right now:
THE GUY WHO KILLED TOKIO'S PARENTS IS HER DAD?!
I was positively stunned; I mean, the possibility occurred to me once or twice before because they never revealed who Midori's parents were even when they showed that Tokio & Midori were siblings, but for it actually to be true? Oh my God, I can't even imagine how nuts this guy must be... Tokio, find Midori quickly!
TT3TT

Ugh. That was... just a lot for me to handle. Anyway, I'm also reading the web comic "Noblesse", about a vampire who wake up from an 820-year slumber in modern day South Korea. The comic relief is hilarious as usual ^_^
Yesterday, Kyou Koi wo Hajimemasu was updated. Chapter 48 was sad, sad, sad! I hate this b*tch Rika more than ever, to take advantage of Tsubaki (both of them) like that... but I just know that Kyouta's only pretending to kiss Rika and will instead kiss TSUBAKI! Yay!
What I'm wondering is, when will "Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu" be updated? [Kyou koi wo hajimemasu always reminds me of this one for some reason]. It's been since February on onemanga.com, hasn't it? I want Takuma and Mayu to get together already!
Oh, but speaking of updates on onemanga.com...
WHY?!!? WHY MUST ONEMANGA CLOSE?!? NANDE?!?!?!
The end of this summer is truly a sad one.

Well, now to enjoy the rest of my day. Baibai! :3

Wow...

Chapter 95 of "Bakuman" was seriously amazing.  I know I say that for every chapter of "Bakuman", but there's meaning to that, too. Ohba & Obata are plain out of this world.  I love them! (^///^)

Just now, I was also reading "Saiyuki", the anime of which I started watching last summer but never got to finishing because our free Netflix subscription expired (gee, mi familia consists of such cheapskates). As much as I adore Sanzo and Hakkai (in general) and Goku's and Gojyou's bickering, I think I'll stick with the anime.  I know to read  Square 1, even if I do need to review the story a bit, what with reviving my interest after a months-long hiatus.  However, I didn't know that Hakkai's lover that was kidnapped, raped, and murdered by those demons was his older sister. I mean, the theme of incest seems to be following me everywhere in the manga world.  It's positively sickening... but you know what? For Hakkai, it doesn't bother me. I think that it makes him even more appealing. I mean, kind human in love with his sister turns into a mad demon, and then completely reforms himself! Ahh, so lovely!
I mean, tell me this guy isn't bad-a** HAWT.

You're LYING.

Lol, ^^ Well, speaking of incest (although there's not really any incest), "Eden no Hana" was updated on mangafox (V. 10 Ch. 1warning. SPOILERS LIE BELOW THIS LINE.
That, too, was an awesome-tastic chapter! Midori decides not to live with Tokio! Tokio confesses to Midori! Midori & Tokio's first kiss! I've been waiting for it ever since I got over Hashiba's rejection. Here are some very lovely previewss...
Wait, wait... That was all in V. 9 Ch. 2.2. Sorry! So I'll include the scenes from that chapter too:

Lol, sorry, I only included kissing scenes! (>///<)
They were just too touching to resist.

Well, anyway, as long as we're on the topic of updates, I might as well talk about "Do You Remember Mogwa" by Han Yu-Rang. Frankly, I'm disappointed.  The beginning was pretty cool, but now it's just confusing and cliche. C'mon, he lost his memories? What a way to spice things up.  But whatever; I think it's Shinjo Mayu who ruined the "lost memories" complex for me.

Okay, so after all that manga-related stuff, on to real life:
It is currently 6.19 AM. The only reason why I'm awake is because I stayed up all night, again. This time I was making plans for Academic Decathlon.  Apparently, the class, under the direction of a new coach, is going to use the same methods as last year: student specialists who teach the rest of the class. Which sucks. But hey, I don't think anyone would listen even if I did complain. So anyway, I'm working on Language and Literature. I'm almost done with the rough sketch of plans, thank God.  Now, just where did I put my copy of "The Grapes of Wrath"...?

Which reminds me, I have no idea where my copy of "Guns, Germs, and Steel", which I have to read for my AP World History homework, is. Better get that finished, since I also have to read "1984" in the next two weeks, and in one of those weeks I am apparently attending a film workshop everyday from 9 am - 3 pm. 0.0

Let's see, is there any other boring aspect of my life I should bring up? Can't really think of anything... well, besides an exchange of texts between a classmate and me about his girlfriend.  But besides, that, no, nothing.
Which means it's time for me to go baibai now! Ciao! :3

Greeeetinnggsss... from Travis AFB. ^^

Which means I'm not on my own computer. Which means I'm not comfortable sitting here having my dad read over my shoulder a whole bunch.
So I'm going to go. I'll tell you about my horrible sunburn at Six Flags "Discovery Kingdom later". Baibai!

Bittersweet endings + Foreboding Prophecy.

Wouldn'tcha know that the day after I blog about "Hana no namae",  THE LAST CHAPTER COMES OUT ON MANGAFOX! x.It was love-lovely, although I feel as though the ending was rushed. There could've been so much more to the story! ;( But oh well. My wishes have come true! Chouko+Kei forEVERR..
LMAO. So when I finished reading the chapter (at about 2 am), I was so wrapped up in manga-bliss, I started dancing to waltzes by Strauss..

Anyway, I thought I was only going to blog about the loveliness of life as blessed by shojo manga, but then I read my horoscope:
It may not matter how creative you feel because an unexpected twist to your day places additional demands on you now. You will still have to show your competence and perform your job, but you could misjudge how long it will take to complete a project, so it's best to start early. If you wait longer than you should, you might not be able to pull off the magic with your usual finesse.
So, these are the stars telling me: "Hurry up and do your homework, you lazy slumbag!" *sigh*
My lovely summer days will be drawing to a close faster than I think.

Annoying [=_=''ll]

Apparently, the Pre-Calculus class that I'm supposed to take this fall won't be dual credit for high school and college. But that's not what I'm annoyed at; when my dad heard that, he got pissed off and went drinking, even though he gets REALLY bad low-blood sugars whenever he does that and I keep telling him he STINKS.
Really now, he's stayed away from alcohol for so long and then got drunk at least 5 times in the last year.

On the bright side, I was having a manga-tastic day just a few hours ago.  I get so giddy just thinking about the next Bakuman chapter, and I just finished the anime version of "Nodame Cantabile". (The latter is actually a bittersweet thing).

'Kay, well time to be pissed of at my dad on another website. Ciao! >3<

Manga update~♥ WARNING! Below lie spoilers.

Here's a hilarious quote from an e-mail I sent to a friend a few weeks ago:
I exited manga-land about 3 days ago, because I read all the chapter[s]  for the new interesting series, and all that're left are third-rate crap...
And today I blog to tell you that my venture away from manga lasted perhaps 2 hours, because my head is so wrapped up in manga that I don't sleep (consequently, I forget that some characters aren't real).  Normally this would be bliss, but lately I've been reading stories in the "psychological" and "tragedy" genres.
Right now, my face looks a little like this:
(TT/////TT)
Yeah, it's a little troublesome. I'm sure everyone at school thinks I've gone completely mental. Oh well, it's not like they're very far off. -^_^-

So, what are these series that I've abandoned the real world for?

 "Hana no Namae" (Click here)
dfg
Seriously, an awesome story. Such a touching tear-jerker!
This is the series that's inspiring me to write the oneshot which has yet to be finished and published onto my other blog. I just want Chouko and Kei to get together and be happy already!  Screw "Paa-suke", even if he is a really nice guy.

The other one is:...
"Eden no Hana" (click here)
Although the story's nothing like "Hana no namae", they remind me a lot of each other. Partly because they're titles sound 2/3rds the same, but there are more legit reasons.
"Eden no Hana" is actually immensely unrealistic, especially in comparison to "Hana no namae" but lovely all the same.  Although the hero's and heroine's (Tokio & Midori) personalities are polar opposites of Kei's and Chouko's, they do have similar traits:
-Hero saved heroine from the darkness and now heroine is unconsciously saving hero from his own darkness.
-They are somehow related (although it appears that Tokio and Midori aren't related to each other at all?)
The major difference between the two?
In "Hana no namae", I didn't want Kei's rival, Maasuke or whatever his name is, to win Chouko.
In "Eden no hana": I FEEL SO SORRY FOR HASHIBA HE WAS WONDERFUL UGH I DON'T WANT MIDORI TO GET TOGETHER WITH SILLY TOKIO-NIICHAN! aka, I wanted the hero's rival to win. I don't think Midori was in love with Tokio, as Hashiba and Yukari convinced her to believe (and Hashiba only thought that because Yukari instigated it, that jealous baka!). I mean, yeah, they're really close for being siblings, but she had just been saved from a horrible life by a brother she never knew she had. As for him? Idk, he's probably in love with her, but we have yet to find out what he really wants in life.

Anywaayyy...
That's that. I did my duty and told the world about these very lovely series that everyone with eyes should read. To get my mind off of the sadness of Hashiba and Midori's breakup, I'm reading "Kare Kano" and other more cheerful series.  I'm also reading other people's blogs! ^^ Lots to do with manga, videogames, and fashion.

Totally exhausted, parents keep waking up to the sound of my typing, and it sounds like Becca's still awake because I keep hearing thuds downstairs, so I guess I better stop for now.  Off to daydreaming about how I'll decorate my new room once my parents pick a house and we actually move...

Ciao~ ♥Seewah-love

Ladidaa, listening to flamenco guitar late at night/early in the mornin'

Play the video above while reading the following:

Ulquiorra: Welcome to Hueco Mundo. Enjoy the margaritas and sit for a chat with Aizen-sama and I.   Call now at (888)952-XXXX.
LOL. Just kidding. Check out those Flamenco guitarists though! I'd go to Spain just to see them. ^_^
Well, not really. But my sister would.  If I went to Europe and came back to Stockton having seen only random performers on the streets of Barcelona, I think I'd cry. WHATEVER HAPPENED TO VIENNA? ROME? THE STINKIN' PALACE OF VERSAILLES?!?
I rather see myself shooting Becca for dragging me into it.. Heheheee...

Feelin' good.

No really.  It's 7.54 am on a Saturday morning, I still haven't read the released Skip Beat and Bakuman chapters on onemanga even though they came out yesterday (because I haven't been online at all yesterday), I'm still wearing the pretty halter dress from yesterday (consequently, I don't smell very pretty right now), my dream was pretty weird, but... I'm still "feelin' good". Hehehee...
Anyway, that was the song that came to mind the moment I opened my eyes.

So yesterday I spent the day at Tsina's house, watching "The Lightning Thief" (2010) and "Rise of the Lycans" (2009).  Both movies weren't all that great, but at least the vampires and werewolves know how to fight.  Which reminds me, "Twilight" sucks and there seems to be a "omg, vampires are so cool" theme to the whole world lately.
GET A LIFE PEOPLE.
Although really, the same could be said at me.  I hardly ever get out of the house to see stuff, so whenever I see large groups of people I kinda flip.  Like when I went to my friends' band performance for a summer program (it wasn't all that great.  Am I describing everything that way?): there were at least 250 teenagers and kids my age there.  The most I see at a time is 125 at my school, so of course I flipped.

Now before I go off to read manga, short summary of what I've been doing these last few days:

1. Writing stories.  See my blog that I finally have a use for, Watashi no chiyoumen.
